What is DRIVE-IN?
Drive-In is an online community of like-minded church leaders that offers resources such as leadership lessons in the form of downloadable audio and video talks, links to various leadership and sermon websites, book lists, and more. These resources have helped align the staff of North Point Ministries and continue to keep them heading in the same direction as they create irresistible environments week after week. Our hope is that by sharing these with church leaders like yourself, you can begin to apply these principles in your community and create churches that un-churched people love to attend.
Drive-In first launched in January of 2009 as an online experience featuring five video sessions, accompanying notes, and fieldwork to be completed with your teams. These five sessions and corresponding material are now available to be downloaded on the “Leadership Lessons” page.
The Drive-In site also features a blog site where we will post topics for your teams to discuss. Please feel free to comment on these topics. We love to know what you are experiencing and how you are dealing with different situations in your church and community.
Who are we?
In 1995, North Point Community Church held its first worship service in a convention center in Atlanta, Georgia. Under the leadership of Andy Stanley, North Point has become one of the largest and most innovative churches in the United States. Much of the growth and impact of North Point is reflected in its ministry practices and core values. Our mission is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by creating environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, community with insiders, and influence with outsiders.
Who is Andy Stanley?
Andy Stanley is a pastor, communicator, author, and the founder of North Point Ministries (NPM). Launched in 1995, North Point Ministries (NPM) is now one of the fastest growing and most influential Christian organizations in America.
Each Sunday, over 20,000 adults attend worship services at one of NPM’s three campuses in the Atlanta area. Additionally, NPM has helped plant fourteen strategic partner churches throughout the United States and is developing strategic partnerships with churches and ministries in 13 countries.
Andy’s books include Making Vision Stick, Communicating for a Change, Visioneering, and The Next Generation Leader. Andy and his wife, Sandra, live in Alpharetta, Georgia, with their three children.
